Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients treated in the ED that had the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10) code as UGIB and related codes (K25 - K29, K31.811, K57, K62.5, and K92.0 - K92.2).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients under 18 years old, pregnant patients, and patients with incomplete medical records were excluded.
