thirsty vomiting pain score anastomotic leakage early feeding appendectomy

Interventions
following the operation,
patients were randomized with a block of 4 and allocated to be conventional feeding at 24 hours compared with early feeding at 4 hours following an appendectomy. following the appendectomy operation&#
patients will be allocated to control and intervention groups. the control group will get water(10ml/kg) per oral at 24 hours following the operations. The intervention group will get water at 4 hours
abdominal distension,
firm time of defecation and passing flatus,
frequency of ambulation,
thirsty and hungry level,
nausea and vomiting,
pain score,
length of the hospital stay,
pathological report,
surgical site infection and intra abdominal collection. patients will be evaluated twice a day with scoring chart and rating scale.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: age less than 15 years old acute appendicitis post appendectomy purse string suture the stump
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: sepsis rupture appendicitis
