Interventions

A self&#45
management program for women with LSIL cytology results refers to an intervention designed to enhance knowledge&#44
self&#45
care behaviors&#44
and reduce anxiety in women with LSIL cytology results. The procedures of the self&#45
management program consist of three phases: 1) introduction and goal selection
2) implementation
and 3) motivation and evaluation. In the 1st phase&#44
it focuses on providing patient education and setting the goal and action plan. In the 2nd phase&#44
participants are trained for self&#45
management skills&#44
monitoring skills&#44
evaluation skills&#44
problem&#45
decision&#45
making skills&#44
communication skills&#44

Eligibility

Sex/Gender
Female
Age
18 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Thai women with LSIL cytology results plus no HPV test or positive HPV test; 2) Aged 18-59 years; 3) First attending at colposcopy clinic; 4) Be able to listen, speak, read, and write in Thai language; 5) Be willing to take part in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Have ever had other gynaecological problems or a history of cervical malignancy; 2) Be currently pregnant; 3) Be postmenopausal; 4) Do not have a mobile phone; 5) Colposcopy follow-up for less than three months.
