Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with signs and symptoms suggested of sepsis or septic shock were enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients who referred from other clinics or hospitals, pregnant, diagnosed as acute ischemic stroke, acute myocardial infarction, injured patient, need to urgent or emergency surgery, non-septic or non-septic shock, dead in emergency department, incomplete medical records, against advice, and refuse the informed refusal.
