Subjects in the EG received virtual shopping training using the virtual supermarket application (Information Technologies Institute in association with the Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease a
is simple VR&#45
based cognitive training program with a low degree of immersion&#44
run on a 12&#45
inch tablet computer in this study. The virtual super market application is developed to mimic real shopping situation in a supermarket that is one of the most common IADL. The subjects were instructe
the subjects chose the items by touching them. In order to purchase selected items&#44
the subjects were asked to move the cash desk and proceed to pay by selecting the precise amount needed to pay for the selected items. After paying&#44
information including the number of correct and incorrect items and total time to complete the shopping was shown in the screen to provide the subjects with the feedback on their performance

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) those diagnosed as MCI by a neurologist (b) single domain amnestic MCI (c) intact global cognitive function confirmed as the Korean version of Mini-Mental Status Examination ≥ 24 (d) no depression symptoms confirmed by the Korean version of Beck Depression Inventory ≤ 9

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) those diagnosed as dementia by a neurologist (b) neurological or psychiatry disorders (c) auditory or visual impairments (d) those who participated in cognitive intervention including pharmacological treatments within the last three months.
