Spinal mobilization with leg movement (SMWLM) is one of the technique from Brian R. Mulligan besides mobilization with movement (MWM) which mostly used on peripheral joints&#44

Age
25 Years to 55 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 25 – 55 years 2. MRI findings of disc herniation in lumbar region with grade 1 or 2 3. Pain intensity with a visual analogue scale (VAS) score greater than 3/10 4. Symptoms present at low back and radiates into leg during SLR 5. Include in Derangement one to five in derangement classification

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Body mass index (BMI) obesity ≥ 30 kg/m2 2. Other specific spine disorders, for instance, spondylolisthesis, rheumatoid arthritis, stenosis, osteoporosis, ankylosing. 3. Difficulty to communicate in Indonesian language 4. Pregnancy 5. History of spinal or lower limb surgery within 6 months 6. Currently taking pain medication (i.e. analgesics, muscle relaxants, and corticosteroids injection) 7. Red flags - Back-related tumor - Cauda equina syndrome (CES) - Back-related infection - Spinal compression fracture - Abdominal aneurysm
