Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults aged 18-60 years 2) Having body mass index (BMI) at least 27.5 kg/m2, 3) Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent 4) Required to reduce body weight.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Be diagnosed with medical conditions that might affect weight 2) Take or expected to receive medication that might affect weight 3) Receiving diabetes treatment either with oral drugs or insulin injections 4) Pregnant women 5) Having significant weight loss in the last six months 6) Bedridden patients 7) History of substance use in the last six months 8) Be diagnosed with coronary heart disease or cerebrovascular disease 9) History of anti-obesity drug use 10) Participating in other clinical controlled trials.
