Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of GDM by two-step strategy (Carpenter-Coustan criteria) at GA 12 weeks of gestation or after

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Twins pregnancy 2. Consumption of unpolished rice 3. Insulin therapy at time of enrolment 4. Any condition or medication that could affect glucose levels 5. Pregestational DM 6. Underlying disease such as AIDS, Thalassemia 7. Communication problem
