Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: formula-fed children aged 1-24 months presented with acute diarrhea
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. exclusive breastfeeding 2. major systemic illness 3. severe malnutriton 4. current intake of lactose free formula 5. cow milk's protein allergy
