Conditions

There is no serious risk or side effects during participating in this study One hour will be given to the participant for performing exercises and half an hour for the following assessment after week no serious side effects can feel only fatigue

Interventions

In Experimental group&#44
the participants will receive AOT. They will sit in front of laptop and place their affected arm on the table. Before intervention&#44
the researcher will explain about the detail of the intervention. The video movements will be displayed from a first&#45
person perceptive to make the actions more intuitive and facilitate optimal corticomotor excitability. A total of 6 action videos will be used which will be performed by the same model&#44
the researcher herself including the following purposeful tasks&#45
drinking water from a cup&#44
moving 5 blocks from one point to another&#44
flipping 5 cards&#44
folding towel&#44
lifting 3 lb basket&#44
turning a doorknob. According to the patient’s need and preference&#44
4 out of 6 selection tasks will be used. After observing one action in a video clip for 3 minutes&#44
the participants will be asked to imitate the same action for 3 minutes. Each session will last about 30 minutes (3 minutes sequence observation&#44
3 minutes imitation for 4 tasks including 2 minutes rest between each task). After action observation&#44
30 minutes task oriented training will follow.,Participants entering the control group will receive sham AOT and watch sequences of geometric symbols instead of action sequences. The video will consis

buildings and trees. After observing the sham action video for 3 minutes&#44
the participants will be asked to perform limb movements (shoulder and elbow joint mobilization) for 3 minutes. Each session will last about 30 minutes as in experimental group. The same task oriented

40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Patients with first time stroke aged between 40 and 80 years b. Patients with ischaemic stroke c. Patients with stroke duration between 1 and 6 months d. Patients with FMA-UE motor scores between 19 and 58 e. Patients who can initiate active extension of wrist and fingers f. Patients with no excessive spasticity (Modified Ashworth scale (MAS)ï‚£ 2) g. Patients with good cognition ( Mini-mental State Exam (MMSE)>24) h. Patients with normal or corrected vision i. Patients with no communication problems

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Patients with upper limb deformities & fracture, post stroke shoulder sublaxation b. Patients with other neurological conditions such as Parkinson Disease, Alzimer”s disease & Dementia c. Patients who unable to sit at least one hour (with or without support)
