Transcutaneous bilirubin measurement by a bilirubinometer was performed on the covered&#45
skin and uncovered skin during and after phototherapy. Transcutaneous bilirubin measurement by a bilirubinometer was performed on the uncovered skin before phototherapy.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia requiring phototherapy Gestational age at least 34 weeks and birth weight at least 2000 grams Maternal age more than 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia requiring total exchange transfusion Neonate with congenital skin disease, e.g. epidermolysis bullosa
