Interventions

Routine care,Music therapist selects appropriate songs and keep them on the playlists. Patients choose at least 10 songs from playlist. Patients choose media to access the song e.g. Youtube&#44
Joox&#44
Spotify. Quality of music therapy is controlled by earphone type which provided by investigator. Patients listen to music at evening or before bedtime 30 minutes per day for 7 days until an admission

60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age ≥ 60 years old 2. Elective surgery under GA/RA 3. At least 7 days prior operation 4. ASA physical status 1,2, 3 5. Having music playing equipment eg. smart phone, computer, laptop, or tablet 6. Having DVD / VCD/ Clip VDO file playing equipment eg. computer, laptop, DVD player, smart phone, or tablet 7. Able to read, write, communicate with Thai language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Been diagnosed of dementia, delirium, or mental retardation (History / Medical record) 2. Been diagnosed of active psychiatric disorder or organic mental disorder (History / Medical record) 3. HADS-A ≥ 12 with suicidal ideation or need of seeing a psychiatrist 4. Current taking antidepressants, antipsychotics, or benzodiazepines 5. Unable to practice music therapy and /or relaxation training 6. Hearing and/ or Visual deficit (Deafness, Blindness) 7. Brain or heart surgery 8. Surgery under monitor anesthesia care (MAC) 9. Refuse to sign consent
