Study subjects were healthy infants and children age lessthan 2 years presenting with nontyphoidal Salmonella gastroenteritis during 1 January 2008 and 31 May 2019 .

Patients who were immunosuppressed and malnourished or had co-
infection with other pathogens were excluded.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy infants and children age lessthan 2 years Presenting with nontyphoidal Salmonella gastroenteritis During 1 January 2008 and 31 May 2019 Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Immunocompromised patients malnutrition had co-infection with other pathogens
