Interventions

Group II (ANL) Under general anesthesia&#44
flank incision was performed in lateral position. Gerota’s fascia and perinephric fat were carefully dissected off the renal capsule. Renal artery and vein were identified and cross clamped with Sat
0 chromic catgut. Closing renal capsule with 2&#45
0 chromic catgut. ,Group I (US PCNL) All PCNL patients were placed 5 French ureteral catheter via rigid cystoscope in lithotomy position. Percutaneous access was performed in lateral position under U
wire&#44
then 30 French Amplatz sheath was placed for as the percutaneous access port. A 26 French rigid nephroscope was applied and stone was disintegrated with ultrasonic and pneumatic lithotripter. For comp
a second tract was created as the same technique. Nephrostomy tube was indwelled at the end of operation for 24 to 48 hours.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: staghorn renal stone patients who underwent US PCNL or ANL

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient who loss follow up at least 3 months after operations imcomplete data records
