Interventions

Pethidine is an opioid derivative used by intravenous injection 50 mg each time and can be repeated every 4 hours. Side effects are nausea&#44
vomiting and also respiratory depression in the newborn. ,Nitrous oxide(Entonox) is an inhaling gas for pain control. The pregnant woman can inhale every time just before the uterine contraction for 3
45 seconds to relieving pain.

Eligibility

Sex/Gender
Female
Age
20 Years to 34 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women whose ages were 20 to 34 years old. 2. Singleton pregnancy 3. Gestational age between 37-40 weeks 4. Low-risk antenatal care history 5. Not a contraindication for vaginal delivery 6. True labor pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. High-risk antenatal care history including poor control gestational diabetes, Pregnancy-induced hypertension, serious maternal underlying diseases 2. Pregnant women who had a contraindication to use pethidine such as asthma, COPD 3. Pregnant women who had a contraindication to use Nitrous oxides such as Pneumothorax or heart failure
