Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA I-II Underlying hypertension BMI <30 Scheduled for elective surgery and require oral intubation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of cardiac disease Asthma/reactive airway disease Baseline heart rate < 60 Anticipated difficult airway Pregnancy On beta-blocker
