Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years old 2. Initial diagnosis of sepsis or septic shock 3. Ramathibodi Emergency Department visit 4. Ramathibodi sepsis protocol used

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal of treatment 2. do-not-attempt-resuscitation orders 3. Refer out to another hospital at later 4. Previous diagnosis or treatment of sepsis
