T2DM patients who were treated at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai hospital during 1 July 2009 -
30 June 2019 and meet the inclusion criteria will be analysed for the cost of treatment.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients treated at either OPD or IPD, who were diagnosed as T2DM) ICD-10: E10.xx – E14.xx and excluded T1DM by age and insulin use only) or patients who received any hypoglycemic agents e.g. meglitinides, sulfonylureas, DPP-4 inhibitors, biguanides, thiazolidinediones, alpha-glucosidase inhibitors, SGLT2 inhibitors, insulin. 2. Patients who were either diagnosed as T2DM or received any antihyperglycemic agents at least 2 times within 6-month since diagnosis. This is to confirm that patients are likely to receive continuous treatment.

Exclusion criteria: Patients with less than 2 records for antihyperglycemic agents
