Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patient who underwent primary total knee replacement surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.prior open knee surgery; poorly-controlled diabetes mellitus, which was defined as preoperative fasting blood sugar level of ≥200 mg/dL 2. history of autoimmune diseases or active cancer 3. history of smoking within the past 12 months 4. history of peripheral vascular disorder, such as atherosclerosis, Buerger’s disease, or chronic venous insufficiency 5. obese status, which was defined as body mass index (BMI) ≥35 kg/m2 and/or, history of radiation at or around the knee 6. Patients were also excluded if they had taken corticosteroid within 30 days before surgery, except for topical and inhaled corticosteroid and if they were currently taking anticoagulant, except low-dose aspirin 7. Patients who received chemotherapy within the preceding 6 months
