Interventions

Cardiovascular stability and strength capabilities of the participants will be assessed prior to the beginning of the exercise program. In addition to usual care&#44
the RREP consists of total 60&#45
min session of 4 steps – 1) 10&#45
up stretching
2) 30&#45
min stationary biking with gradually increasing tension to 60&#45
65% of maximum heart rate or Borg rating of perceived exertion (RPE) scale of 12&#45
3) 10&#45
min 10&#45
15 repetition x 3&#45
set weight training of upper and lower extremity joint flexion/extension with free weights at 12&#45
13 RPE
and 4) 10&#45
down stretching. The participants will be requested to perform the RREP 1 session/day&#44
3 days/week for 12 weeks at the community health center under supervision of a physical therapist. ,Control (usual care) consists of routine care by health professionals at the non&#45
communicable disease (NCD) clinic of the hospital. After the research program&#44
when beneficial&#44
the RREP will be recommended to the participants in the control group.
