Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged between 40 – 70 years and both sexes 2) Diagnosis as type 2 diabetes with well-controlled blood glucose based on follow up three times of medical assessments according to medical records 3) Screened with Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument (MNSI) and have a MNSI score ≥ 2.5 out of 10 by the researcher (Herman et al. 2012) 4) Diabetic duration of more than 5 years according to the medical record 5) Able to understand the instructions by mini-mental state examination (MMSE) (Roman de Mettelinge et al., 2013)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Diagnosis as peripheral venous insufficiency, cardiac, renal or hepatic insufficiency, uncontrolled hypertension or myopathic by medical record 2) Diagnosis as central nervous system dysfunction (such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and cerebral ataxia) by medical record 3) Foot ulcers by physical examination 4) Fracture of the lower limbs within the 6 months before the study by physical examination 5) Partial or complete blindness by physical examination 6) Severe auditory problems by physical examination (Chatchawan, Eungpinichpong, Plandee, & Yamauchi, 2015) (Marques et al. 2017)
