Interventions

the participants spent time learning new skills associated with a tablet computer. The first two sessions focused on learning basic functions of the tablet computer such as hardware controls&#44
volume and sound settings) and exploring a variety of apps available. Subsequent 14 sessions were organized according to the theme&#44
where participants learned the use of apps closely related to each theme for one session&#44
resulting in 7 themes were included in the 14 sessions,the participants performed cognitive activities that require low cognitive demands by using the tablet computer. These activities could be comple

listening to classic music or radio shows&#44
or reading a newspaper. The participants were told that all activities were conducted to enhance cognitive function in order to facilitate their participation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) those who have a minimum score of 24 on the Korean version of Mini-Mental Status Examination (b) those who have no visual or auditory impairment (c) those who have no history of major psychiatric or neurologic disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) those who have experience of participating in activities designed to enhance cognitive function (b) those who take pharmacological treatments for improving cognitive function (c) those who refuse to use a computer or a tablet computer.
