Stress among adolescents from low&#45

Interventions

According to the estimated sample size calculation&#44
78 adolescents will be allocated to the intervention group. The adolescents from the intervention group will be divided into 4 subgroups in which each subgroup consists of 20 to 25 adolescents. Studie
fewer involve in making the decision and less participation in discussion (Jaques & Salmon&#44

2018). The intervention will be delivered based on the subgroup that will be divided. The intervention module will be delivered within one days duration (weekend) with three sessions. Short duration o
the different subgroup will be given the intervention module. The fourth subgroup is dedicated for respondents that are not able to come based on the allocation of the subgroup. The sessions will be d

and games with the content vetted by the expert panel. ,The waitlist control group will not receive any intervention during the period of study. However&#44
the waitlist control group will receive the intervention module after completion of the study.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria are as follow: i) Adolescents age between 13 to 15 years old. This age group was chosen in order to avoid the effects of a school program called Minda Sihat which is introduced to all 16 years old students (MOH, 2005). ii) Perceives as having stress (Perceived stress score 1 and above) Study have shown that indicated prevention intervention in reducing stress had documented higher intervention effects as compared to universal prevention intervention (Puolakanaho, et al., 2019; Burckhardt, et al., 2016). The perceived stress score of 1 and above indicates the presence of stress (Cohen, 1988). iii) Provided written parental consent. iv) Malaysian citizen.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria are as follow: i) Currently enrolled in mental health treatment for stress or to cope with stressors ii) Adolescents with a physical and psychological disabilities that may prevent from participating and understanding in the intervention modules.
