Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients fulfilled the American College of Rheumatology criteria for Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients <18 years of age and pregnant and lactating woman were not included in the study. Patients were excluded if there is any other systemic disease that can affect periodontal status&#44; antibiotic therapy within the previous 3 months&#44; and periodontal treatment within the last 6 months
