Interventions

Serum magnesium will be measured every follow&#45
up visit in all kidney transplant recipients in our institute. We will categorize patients into two groups according to serum magnesium levels as a time&#45
varying variable&#44
hypomagnesemia (serum magnesium level <1.48 mEq/L) and normal serum magnesium group (serum magnesium level ≥1.48 mEq/L). Relationship between serum magnesium levels and time to development of post&#
transplant diabetes or impaired fasting plasma glucose will be explore using joint model and controlling for other confounding factors.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Kidney transplant recipients at Chiang Mai University Hospital between January 2014 and May 2019. 2. Age of 18 years or older

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of impaired fasting plasma glucose or diabetes mellitus before kidney transplantation according to American Diabetic Association guideline 2. Patients who was diagnosed Post&#45;transplant diabetes or impaired fasting plasma glucose within the 1st month after transplantation 3. Graft lost within the first 6 months after transplantation
