Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All elderly people over 60 years old with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis which were diagnosed with colonoscopy and colon biopsy included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The elderly patients with indeterminate colitis , intestine functional disorder associated with IBD and bacterial infection simultaneously with IBD were excluded.
