Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients between the ages of 18 and 65years who underwent Dor fundoplication at the National University of Malaysia Medical Centre (a teaching university hospital) as well as Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital (a public tertiary hospital) between 1st of January 2012 until 31st of January 2017.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had a revision surgery upon presentation to the two centres, and patients who had more than one procedure performed simultaneously.
