Interventions

After monitoring peripheral capillary oxygen saturation&#44
non&#45
invasive blood pressure&#44
heart rate (HR) and bispectral index (BIS)&#44
induction was performed with 2.5 mg/kg propofol&#44
2 mcg/kg fentanyl and 0.6 mg/kg rocuronium&#44
and the patients were intubated. Anaesthesia was maintained by administering a mixture of 50% oxygen and 5%–7% desflurane in air at a flow rate of 2 L/min with 0.05–0.5 mcg/kg/min remifentanyl inf
tidal CO2 level between 30 and 35. Immediately after induction&#44
20 mL normal saline containing 1 mg/kg ketamine was intravenously administered. Postoperative sedation/agitation level at emergence&#44
incidence of cough were recorded. Vital signs and sedation/agitation and pain levels were recorded at 10&#45
min intervals for 30 min in the recovery unit.,After monitoring peripheral capillary oxygen saturation&#44
tidal CO2 level between 30 and 35.20 mL normal saline was intravenously administered in 10 min. Postoperative sedation/agitation level at emergence&#44
