Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease was made according to United Kingdom Parkinson’s Disease Society Brain Bank criteria, however family history of PD was allowed. Inclusion criteria included that patients must be at least 18 years of age, Hoehn and Yahr (H&Y) stage 1-3 during an on-medication period, on stable pharmacological treatment without motor fluctuations at least for the past 6 weeks, and able to write.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with coexisting neurological or musculoskeletal disorders affecting writing movement and patients who underwent deep brain stimulation were excluded.
