Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Aged 25-50 years old with Relative Melanin Value (RMV) range 20-120 and/or melasma area and severity index at least 10 - Be able to follow the study protocol - Written consent of the volunteer

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of eczema or psoriasis within 6 months 2. History of herbes 3. Incident of facial warts, wounds or scars 4. Medical or cosmetic treatment with steroids, antibiotics, NSAIDs, anti-histamine, azelaic acid, kojic acid, hydroquinone, chemical peels, tretinoin or isotretinoin within 4 weeks before the study 5. History of major operation within 1 year 6. History of skin cancer within 1 year 7. Pregnancy or lactation 8. Heavy smoker or drinker
