Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - The newborn with greater than or equal to 37 weeks gestation age and body weight more than equal 2,500 gm. - The newborn aged under 14 days at the time of enrollment. - The microbilirubin is less than 2 mg/dL below the level of phototherapy for a high-risk patient, referred from AAP 2014 guidelines, according to age and gestational age.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - The newborn who needs oxygen therapy - The newborn who has clinical of dehydration as pulse rate more than 160 bpm or oliguria - The newborn who has clinical sepsis as an abnormal respiratory rate (less than 40 /min or more than 60 /min), bradycardia (respiratory rate less than 120 bpm), not alert or body temperature instability (less than 35.5 or more than 37.5 degree Celsius) - The hematocrit more than 65% - The microbilirubin which reaches the level of blood exchange transfusion according to age and gestational age, referred from AAP 2014 guidelines or microbilirubin more than equal 25 mg/dL considers treatment by blood exchange transfusion.
