year. ,Healthy subjects aged ≥ 40 years old with no history of chronic respiratory diseases&#44

and normal spirometry.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Suspected COPD group &#45; Suspected COPD subjects aged ≥ 40 years old &#45; No history of chronic respiratory diseases other than COPD &#45; Smokers or ex&#45;smoker ≥ 10 packs&#45;year 2. Healthy control &#45; Healthy subjects aged ≥ 40 years old &#45; No history of chronic respiratory diseases &#45; Non&#45;smokers or ex&#45;smoker < 5 packs&#45;year &#45; Normal spirometry

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: The study population will be excluded from the study according to the following criteria: &#45; Unable to perform spirometry &#45; Unable to perform IOS &#45; Spirometry not met American Thoracic Society (ATS)/European Respiratory Society (ERS) 2005 standard &#45; IOS not met standard recommended by Bickel et al and ERS standard
