Interventions

After getting informed consent for parent&#39
s permission and informed assent from students&#44
the research team will implement oral health promotion activities for four months. Three main activities are included in Buddy Brushing program: 1) class interactive activities such as brainstorming a
2) practical training of toothbrushing&#44
flossing method and method for checking cleanliness of the teeth by using disclosing solution&#44
3) recording of buddy diary and toothbrushing diary. After four months&#44
oral hygiene status and gingival health status will be assessed by standard dental examination set and dental floss.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Both male and female students Thai and Karen students No communication problems Students who are currently studying at these five primary schools in Mae Tan subdistrict, Tha Song Yang district, Tak province. Students who are studying grade 4 and 5 at 2019 study year Students who give informed assent to participate in this study and their parents/guardians give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students who are absence at the first week of the Buddy Brushing intervention Participants who will leave the school within 6 months after commencing the intervention
