3 days before the appointment date. Standard postpartum cares were provided the same as the control group but they have also received the mother role program by the pediatrician at teenage mother clin

counseling for breastfeeding and plan for further education and occupation. Their babies were also taken care of the same setting as mothers.,Control group received standard care at postpartum 6 weeks

baby clinic) as a routine practice.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were the teenage mother (age < 20 years old at the date of delivery) delivered at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology&#44; Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital from February 2015 to December 2016. They can visit for postpartum follow up at Siriraj hospital with their babies until at least 2 years after delivery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Teenage mothers with underlying medical diseases which need regular follow up were excluded.
