Interventions

In a cross&#45
sectional study in the form of a communicational design during July to September 2014&#44
100 dysthymic patients (72 male and 28 female patients) were randomly selected from the men and women referring to the counseling centers of Tehran through respondent&#45
driven sampling method and were entered into research process after acquiring the inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtaining informed consent.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) age range of 18-50 years; 2) diagnosis of depressive disorder by means of scores in the depression scale and semi-structured clinical interview; 3) residence in Tehran and the suburbs with a deviation of 30 square kilometers from center, and 4) obtaining informed consent to participate in the research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) to diagnose any psychiatric disorder that is consistent with depression; 2) head trauma or experience any trauma within one year until the study; and 3) use of any psychotherapy drug that effects on the memory function.
