met at least 1 of the following
​1. The malignant/metastatic tissue does not ever concentrate RAI (no uptake outside the thyroid bed at the first therapeutic WBS) or 2. The tumor tissue loses the ability to concentrate RAI after
avid disease (in the absence of stable iodine contamination) or 3. RAI is concentrated in some lesions but not in others or 4. Metastatic disease progresses despite significant concentration of RAI or

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age at diagnosis >/= 18 year-old and - Radioiodine refractory differentiated thyroid cancer that had tumor specimen at KCMH.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Radioiodine refractory differentiated thyroid cancer specimens that unable to do PCR analysis for TERT promoter mutations.
