Interventions

All participants were provided 360&#45
kcal sachets of ONCE Renal supplement containing 7.19 g of proteins&#44
48.25 g of carbohydrate with fiber 2.99 g&#44
15.95 g of fat&#44
143.6 mg of calcium&#44
143.6 mg of phosphorus&#44
197.4 mg of potassium and 132.8 mg of sodium instead of 1 meal daily for 30 days. Additional 30 ONCE Renal supplement sachets were provided at first visits&#44
and empty sachets were collected to determine compliance.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for CKD subjects aged 18 to 75 years was estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 15 to 29 mL/min/1.73 m2 (stages 4 CKD) and those who had 3.5 g/dL) and consented to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with CKD with active malignancy&#44; severe heart&#44; lung or liver disease&#44; chronic HIV&#44; hepatitis B virus or hepatitis C virus infection&#44; malnourished conditions defined as a loss of ≥5% body weight over the past 3 months or serum albumin concentration <3.5 g/dL were excluded from the study.
