Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: These patients with mucormycosis were then classified as proven, probable, and possible mucormycosis according to EORTC/MSG criteria. Proven mucormycosis was defined as a positive finding in the histopathologic or cytopathologic or direct microscopic examination with Gomori’s methenamine silver stain of the tissue or a positive culture from sterile sites. Probable mucormycosis required at least a host factor and a microbiological criterion and a clinical criterion according to EORTC/MSG criteria. Possible mucormycosis could be categorized by the proper host factors together with clinical criteria supporting the infection without the mycological support according to EORTC/MSG criteria.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with other infections that are not mucormycosis.
