Interventions

Biodentine is a calcium&#45
silicate based material that is used in many dental applications. Biodentine has shorter setting time in contrast to other silicate cements such as Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and also has better
combined with bismuth oxide powder for radiopacity. It is biocompatible and bioinductive. MTA has been proposed as a potential medicament for pulpotomy procedure&#44
capping of pulps with reversible pulpitis&#44
apexification&#44
repair of root perforation and repair of resorptive defects.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included the presence of deep carious lesions, no clinical or radiographic evidence of pulp degeneration and high potential for restoration with a stainless steel crown.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Clinical or radiographic evidence of pulp degeneration (swelling or sinus tract, furcation radiolucency, internal and external resorption, pathological mobility, history of spontaneous, and nocturnal pain), non restorable tooth
