Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: scheduled to undergo posterior lumbar laminectomy American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status I or II could operate a patient-controlled analgesic (PCA) device

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any known allergy to sulfonamides severe hepatic impairment acute peptic ulceration congestive heart failure pregnancy lactation
