Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All participants had two active incipient carious lesions on permanent upper central incisor teeth.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: They had no history of systemic disease, congenital, physical or mental disability and never used any medications which altered salivary flow/composition. All participants brush their teeth with fluoride toothpaste twice a day. They have not received any topical fluoride therapy in the last six months.
