18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients visit emergency room at King chulalongkorn memorial hospital KCMH age between 18-70 years who meet the following criteria 1 The patients with all type of diabetes mellitus 2 POCT glucose at triage less than 70 mg% 3 Severe hypoglycemia with autonomic symptom and/or neuroglycopenic symptom 4 Patients who meet the criteria of severe hypoglycemia 5 Fully recovery after 50% glucose bolus to GCS 15 and understand the research methods 6 Can tolerate oral meals

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patient whose symptoms doesn't resolve after 50% glucose bolus and the POCT glucose return to normal range 2 Patient who cannot understand the research methods 3 Pregnancy, lactation 4 Hypoglycemia from overdose 5 History of endocrine tumor or malignancy 6 Cannot tolerate oral meals 7 Suspected of more severe disease and/or have to admit to hospital 8 Patients who recently took steroids 9 Fluid restricted patients
