in this group after induction of anesthesia &#44

every patient will be hyper ventilated for 25 seconds &#44

then ECT will be accomplished .,in this group ECT will accomplished promptly after induction of anesthesia

Active Comparator Procedure/Surgery,Placebo Comparator No treatment

hyper ventilated for 25 seconds after anesthesia induction,usual ventilation with o2

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all schizophrenic patients undergo ECT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any systemic / organic disease : diabetes, hepatic failure , renal failure ,
