Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 6-14 years who had migraine with and without aura, defined by the International International Headache Society criteria for migraine (17), were enrolled into the study. All patients experienced one or more headaches per week for at least 6 months or had severe disabling or intolerable headache before entry into the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: children who had complicated migraine that required medications other than analgesics, past treatment with migraine prophylactic agent, persistent increasing headache, comorbid conditions such as seizures, abnormal neuroimaging, history of epilepsy, and history of contraindications to cinnarizine or propranolol administration.
