Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants included patients aged between 20 years and 70 years diagnosed with primary pterygium

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with corneal abnormalities, limbal stem cell deficiency, corneal decompensation, ocular malignancy, glaucoma, ocular infections, concurrent ophthalmic drug use, systemic diseases that interfere with corneal wound healing were excluded.
