Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: viable singleton preterm pregnancy at 24-36+6 weeks of gestation and underwent vaginal delivery at the labor room and Cesarean delivery at the operating room.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: major severe congenital anomalies or chromosomal abnormalities&#44; multiple gestations&#44; maternal coagulopathy or maternal anemia (Hematocrit < 30%)&#44; placenta previa or abruptio placenta&#44; fetal non reassuring or fetal distress&#44; non&#45;vigorous neonate were denied participation.
