Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: type 2 diabetes on simvastatin up to 20 mg/day&#44; LDL<100 mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: allergic to atorvastatin&#44; chronic kidney disease&#44; atherosclerotic vascular disease&#44; active liver disease
