Inclusion criteria: 1.Severe carpal tunnel syndrome with thenar atrophy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Ipsilateral arthritis of upper extremity 2.Contraindication for surgery 3.Previous surgery at wrist area
