Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 2-13 years old children at Yankin Children Hospital with history of fever for 2-7 days with suspected dengue by paediatrician 2. Children with positive NS1 and/or IgM by Rapid diagnostic Test for Dengue 3. Children who are willing to participate with an informed consent or assent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children who have diagnosis other than Dengue (e.g. Malaria, Enteric fever, Central Nervous System infections, Respiratory tract infections, Gastrointestinal tract infections ) 2. Children who have evidence of co-infections on admission 3. Children with immunocompromised status (e.g. Taking steroids, chemotherapy, malignancy, HIV, chronic organic diseases)
