Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria comprised age 18 years or older, diagnosed T2DM, estimated glomerular filtration rate at least 60 ml/min/1.73m2, stable glycemic treatment with HbA1c>7-10% at least 3 months, and no treatment adjusted with antihypertensive drugs within 3 months before starting the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included history of urinary and genital tract infection, dehydration, history of diabetic ketoacidosis, diuretic used, pregnancy and any uncontrolled endocrine disorders within one year of starting the study.
